Shipping Policy (/policies/shipping)

  • Processing: Orders ship within 1–2 business days (Mon–Sat).
  • Free Standard Shipping: $99+ (after discounts, before tax) to contiguous U.S.
  • Methods & ETA: Standard 3–6 business days; Expedited options (non-refundable once shipped).
  • Tracking: Emailed when label is created; first scan may take 24 hours.
  • Address issues / Undeliverable: If returned to sender or refused: reship at customer cost or refund minus original postage (even if free) + carrier return fees.
  • Split shipments: Possible; each package gets tracking.
  • Damage in transit: Report within 48 hours with photos of box/label/packing/items → we reship at no cost.
  • International: U.S. only (for now).

Returns & Exchanges (/policies/returns)

  • Window: 30-Day Happiness Guarantee. Start a return within 30 days of delivery.
  • Return fee: $10 flat (deducted from refund) for non-defective returns.
  • Condition: Like new with all original packaging, inserts, accessories, shrink-wraps, manuals, and bonus materials.
  • How to start:
    1. Request RMA via /returns/start or support@SmartSproutKids.com (order #).
    2. Receive prepaid label (eligible U.S. returns).
    3. Pack securely; include all materials; affix label.
    4. Keep the drop-off receipt.
  • Refund timing: 3–5 business days after inspection; original shipping (if any) non-refundable.
  • Exchanges: Use a $10 return label; exchange ships after inspection. Need faster? Place a new order; we refund the return after inspection.
  • Defective/Incorrect/Missing: Report within 7 days with photos/video; we repair/replace or refund at no cost (we cover shipping both ways).
  • Fraud & abuse prevention (deductions):
    • Missing/damaged packaging/inserts → up to 15% deduction
    • Missing components/cards/books → replacement value deducted
    • Heavily used/unsellable → return rejected (offer paid reship)
  • Non-returnables: Digital downloads/printables, opened software/media (if applicable), Final Sale items, gift cards.
  • Labels: U.S. domestic only; one label per RMA; unapproved returns may be rejected.
